Collaborates with the City of Houston Occupational Safety Team, airport operational teams, senior staff, regulatory authorities, and stakeholders such as air carriers (domestic and international), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), air traffic control, ground handlers, aircraft fueling companies, fixed-base operators, corporate-based operators, and others with the goal of a proactive approach to ongoing safety improvement. -Conducts timely and comprehensive investigations of all accidents and safety incidents and prepares factual reports to appropriate divisions summarizing the circumstances and root causes of the accident or incident and follows up with recommended corrective and preventative action to be taken.
