Under close supervision, performs professional civil engineering and project management work of moderate complexity; performs a variety of engineering tasks involving public works improvement projects; prepares designs and specifications for assigned projects; collaborates and confers with developers, contractors, other engineers and the general public; and performs other related duties. Processes tract maps, parcel maps, abandonments, quit claims, lot line adjustments, lot merges, soil reports and related documents; ensures compliance with conditions of approval; prepares reports for finalizing documents; collects bonds, fees and deposits.
