Develops, monitors, and reports departmental quality, safety, productivity, financial, regulatory, and service-performance measures, including medication turnaround times, medication-safety events, controlled-substance discrepancies, regulatory findings, budget performance, staff engagement, and other key indicators. The Director of Pharmacy is accountable for building a high-performing department, advancing medication safety, strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration, and ensuring pharmacy services are aligned with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and patient-care needs.
