Provides primary analytical support to the Graduate Council, Committee on Educational Policy, and Committee on Courses of Instruction, exercising independent judgment in the review and implementation of courses, curricula, degree requirements, educational policies, academic program proposals, and related governance matters under the Academic Senate''s authority as delegated by Regents Standing Order 105.2 and Regents Bylaw 40.1. Manages and coordinates all administrative and operational aspects of the committee, including the review of new graduate degree programs, substantial program changes, graduate group bylaws, graduate academic policies and regulations, student academic petitions, graduate program reviews, and matters related to postdoctoral and graduate education.
