Responsibilities include concept design, cost estimation, material and equipment specification and ordering, selecting suppliers and contractors, requisitioning equipment, materials, and services, directing consultant engineering services, leading cross-functional project teams, and supervising and coordinating project activities. Possesses broad knowledge of engineering, including new product development, mechanical engineering, electrical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and component design, chemical concepts, and lean manufacturing concepts.
