High school diploma or GED; supplemented by six (6) months to one (1) year work experience that demonstrates the ability to safely and effectively operate a variety of light duty equipment associated with the construction, maintenance and/or repair of streets, sidewalks, and drainage systems; or, an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: Operates various types of equipment, i.e., striping machine, tractors and shredders, sweepers, rollers, skid steers, dump trucks and water trucks, in the construction, maintenance, and repair of City streets, sidewalks, and drainage systems.
