Direct fleet asset management and performance, including vehicle utilization, maintenance, repairs, inspections, preventive maintenance programs, fleet reliability initiatives, fuel tax reporting, fleet records, performance reporting, capital replacement planning, vendor and service provider management, and monitoring key operational, safety, compliance, and reliability metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement. This role is responsible for building a high-performing transportation team, fostering a strong safety culture, proactively identifying and mitigating transportation risks, ensuring safe and efficient delivery execution, maintaining compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and company regulations, and driving operational excellence through cross-functional partnership and continuous improvement.
