The major duties of the Coordinator of Discipleship will be: leading and supporting discipleship ministries for children, youth, and adults; recruiting, training, equipping, and encouraging ministry volunteers; coordinating outreach efforts, newcomer engagement, and new member classes. In fulfillment of those duties, the Coordinator of Discipleship will plan and oversee special programs and events, including Vacation Bible School, retreats, fellowship activities, and seasonal ministries and promote intergenerational relationships, worship participation, service opportunities, community engagement, and support for United Methodist ministries.
