Additional responsibilities include developing accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects during the pre-construction phase, analyzing project specifications, drawings, and market conditions to determine material costs, labor needs, creating detailed bids, collaborating with stakeholders, and identifying value engineering opportunities, and other factors impacting the overall project budget. This position requires working outdoors in all weather conditions (to include but limited to, rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, and sleet), around hazardous chemicals, dust, dirt, and other particulates.
