REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Knowledge of basic mathematical operations and calculations (e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, order of operations) to calculate labor, materials, and/or cost estimates for projects and work orders, etc Working knowledge of National Electrical Codes Must have the ability to effectively read, write, and communicate in the English language at a 12th-grade level Minimum of eight (8) years of construction management and/or craft supervision experience in similar facility construction or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods), negotiations, engineering, cost control schedules, and safety Knowledge of basic mathematical operations and calculations (e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, order of operations) to calculate labor, materials, and/or cost estimates for projects and work orders, etc Expert working knowledge of National Electrical Codes Must have excellent communication skills, strong leadership skills, and a strong safety background Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) Must have the ability to effectively read, write, and communicate in the English language at a 12th-grade level Must possess a valid Florida Drivers license in good standing to meet the companys driving requirements High School Diploma or GED. JOB SUMMARY: The General Superintendent is responsible for providing oversight of all field activities, including organization, management, and execution of work, as well as leading, motivating, and overseeing all aspects of the planning, implementation, and completion of electrical projects.
