Overview:
The Department of Business Analytics and Information System is currently accepting applications for the temporary position of Coordinator of Program Promotion, Support, and Outreach. This position will coordinate program promotion, support and outreach for the department.  Temporary Employment Services (TES), a unit of the Auburn University Department of Human Resources, is an in-house support center established to meet the temporary employment needs of the university. TES provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus. Temporary employees are hired for a variety of reasons with the most common being:  <ul><li>Assistance in the place of a regular employee who is absent for a specified period of time </li><li>Additional assistance during periods of abnormal or peak workloads </li><li>Assistance with special projects </li><li>Seasonal work </li><li>Emergencies </li></ul>If you are looking for an employment opportunity, TES is a great way to showcase your professional skills and assist Auburn University while gaining valuable work experience within higher education. AU students are not eligible for TES. 

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Coordinates departmental corporate outreach activities.</li><li>Assists with the Analytics Capstone Projects client engagement</li><li>Works with faculty on case competition development and operation.</li><li>Assist with Poster competition.</li><li>Coordinate alumni engagement events for the department.</li><li>Works on promotional materials for the department.</li></ul>

Qualifications:

Pay Range:
USD $15.00 - USD $18.00 /Hr.

Career Connections Ambassador are expected to support all major events hosted by Career Discovery and Success, as well provide traffic flow support during peak times within the office. Those who serve as an Ambassador are also expected to engage in mandatory training, regular meetings, and supervision, as well as pre-schedule professional development sessions. Ambassadors also play a vital role in the recruitment and training of future Ambassadors.

Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:Marketing & Content Creation<ul><li>Create engaging content for social media, including photography, videography, and short-form video</li><li>Design graphics and promotional materials to support events and campaigns</li><li>Assist in developing creative marketing strategies to increase student engagement</li><li>Promote Career Discovery and Success programs through digital and in-person outreach</li></ul>Event Support & Execution<ul><li>Assist with event preparation, including logistics, materials, and setup</li><li>Support day-of event execution, including check-in, guest assistance, and troubleshooting</li><li>Help manage event flow and provide excellent customer service to attendees</li><li>Participate in event tear-down and post-event wrap-up</li></ul>Outreach & Engagement<ul><li>Represent Career Discovery and Success at campus events, tabling opportunities, and presentations</li><li>Support outreach efforts by visiting classrooms and student organizations</li></ul>Professionalism & Leadership<ul><li>Collaborate with fellow ambassadors and staff on projects and initiatives</li><li>Contribute to the recruitment and mentorship of future Career Ambassadors</li></ul>This role is ideal for students interested in marketing, public relations, communications, hospitality, or event management who want to gain meaningful, hands-on experience while serving the Auburn community.
