Responsible for clinical leadership, fostering high-quality patient care, standardizing protocols, developing strategic goals, and expanding programs. The role promotes interdepartmental collaboration, partners with stakeholders to ensure continuity of care, advocates in the community, and oversees quality assurance and compliance with legal and organizational standards.Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperations<ul><li>Develop, implement, and monitor clinical standards and competencies.</li><li>Facilitate new program development and evaluate service expansion.</li><li>Create operational plans for clinical support, communicate, and evaluate them.</li><li>Ensure ongoing clinical education and competency development.</li><li>Develop and update policies, procedures, and protocols.</li><li>Oversee policy manual reviews and revisions.</li><li>Implement internal controls to ensure policy adherence.</li><li>Ensure compliance for 245G and 245i mental health services.</li><li>Build partnerships and coordinate activities with internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Promote technology use to streamline operations.</li></ul>Quality and Compliance<ul><li>Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations.</li><li>Oversee investigation and response to patient complaints and incidents.</li><li>Evaluate clinical risks and implement safety strategies.</li><li>Lead root-cause analyses for serious occurrences.</li><li>Report on incidents, claims, and risks to leadership.</li><li>Drive process improvements for care quality and safety.</li><li>Monitor compliance and promote a culture of evidence-based decision making.</li></ul>Financial and Human Resources<ul><li>Collaborate with CFO on productivity and quality metrics.</li><li>Work with billing and HR departments.</li><li>Assist with electronic health record implementation and maintenance.</li></ul>Leadership<ul><li>Participate in senior leadership and board meetings.</li><li>Lead clinical department meetings.</li><li>Advocate for patients and staff.</li><li>Build and support teams, resolve conflicts, and ensure effective coverage.</li><li>Oversee hiring, orientation, training, and performance management of staff.</li><li>Align services with organizational strategic goals.</li></ul>QualificationsEducation & Experience<ul><li>Master’s degree in a relevant field and 7+ years of clinical management/leadership, or</li><li>Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience.</li><li>Dual licensure as a clinical professional and supervisor (e.g., LCSW, LPC).</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities<ul><li>Expertise in Family, Women’s Treatment, and Outpatient Programs.</li><li>Experience in integrated delivery systems and clinical management.</li><li>Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.</li><li>Financial acumen, data analysis, and partnership building skills.</li><li>Ability to develop innovative solutions and foster team development.</li><li>Knowledge of grant management is a plus.</li></ul>Job Requirements<ul><li>Dual licensure in Mental Health and LADC.</li><li>Board-approved professional in Mental Health and Substance Use.</li><li>Expertise in 245G and 245I policies.</li><li>CPR certification for healthcare workers.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.</li><li>Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.</li><li>Ability to pass DHS background checks.</li><li>Ability to lift 25 lbs and climb stairs.</li><li>On-site presence at Wayside Locations: Women’s Treatment Center (St. Louis Park), Family Treatment Center (Minneapolis), Outpatient Program (St. Paul).</li></ul>#J-18808-Ljbffr
