Requirements • Graduate of an accredited medical school and residency program • Licensure to practice medicine in Washington State as a Physician • Board certification in psychiatry required • Board certification in consult-liaison psychiatry sub-specialty preferred • Experience in hospital based psychiatric practice required • Credentialed to practice within MultiCare Health System facilities. p>Salary applicable to locations South of the 26° South Latitude Trainee Psychiatrist Year 1-7 $175,576 to $235,046 p.a. pro rata Salary applicable to locations North of the 26° South Latitude Registrar Year 3 $200,773 p.a. pro rata HSMP Year 1-6 $301,700 to $378,680 p.a. pro rata All salaries are inclusive of base salary, professional development allowance and 12% superannuation. The Rural Psychiatry Training WA (RPTWA) program is overseen by the Western Australia Psychiatry Training Committee, in accordance with the requirements for obtaining Fellowship of the Royal Australian New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP).
