The County of San Mateo Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (BHRS) seeks Board eligible or Board-certified adult psychiatrists to join one of our outpatient clinics at Central County, San Mateo; North County, Daly City; Coastside Clinic, Half Moon Bay; South County, Redwood City; East Palo Alto Community Counseling Center, East Palo Alto; Primary Care Interface; Older Adult System of Integrated Services (OASIS); Puente Team; Public Health Policy & Planning’s (PHPP) Street Medicine Team, to work with adult BHRS clients with severe mental illness and substance use disorders. Excellent Benefits Package The position offers a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package which includes County funded malpractice insurance, pension plans and health benefits for retirees, 5% match into deferred comp, reimbursement of professional dues and expenses (up to $3,000/year), an additional 5% increase in salary for each qualifying Board certification up to two (2) Boards, administrative leave time at 5 hours per pay period up to 260 hours (this is prorated for part time employees) that can be used as time off or cashed out up to 50%, three days of Winter Recess (24 total hours) leave time, and a wellness program, including exercise classes, worksite massage, and an onsite gym.
