Position Summary:
<p style="margin:0px">The part-time <strong>Building Security Officer Supervisor</strong> for Acrisure Arena will help provide a safe environment by overseeing security operations at the venue. Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Provide supervision of security operations including vulnerability mitigation, incident response, and risk assessments.</li><li>Coordinate, and implement policies, and procedures for safety and security protocols at the venue. </li><li>Ensure all building security systems are operating as necessary during event and non-event periods. Security systems include but are not limited to; cameras and access control, physical security equipment (Screening Gateways, hand-wands, etc.).</li><li>Serve as the primary escalation point to client and employee security inquiries, concerns, and/or complaints during an event.  Alleviate future escalated issues by examining all past situations and maintaining a pro-active process.</li><li>Work with the Events department and offer guidance with event estimates as it relates to security, police, fire, and medical needs.</li><li>Responsible for championing awareness, influencing compliance with security policies, and providing solutions for business specific security issues.</li><li>Assist with developing comprehensive models for deployments based on capacity and show genre.</li><li>Supervision over a sustainable security culture, while addressing employee conduct and performance concerns.</li><li>Establish and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with customers, including local, state, and federal authorities.</li><li>Establish and maintain the venue’s reputation for excellent entertainment experience by balancing enforcement of rules and regulations with guest safety and enjoyment.</li><li>Maintain the proper image and generate positive public relations by resolving guest/artist/client/tenant issues, concerns, and complaints pertaining to security during events.</li><li>Assist with the development, implementation and supervision of facility security systems and programs.</li><li>Assist with developing comprehensive dot maps serving various functionalities including but not limited to staff placement, accessibility, and/or access control. </li><li>Communicate with client Security personnel and advance various tour needs in preparation of show.</li><li>Coordinate directly with emergency services personnel and oversee Medical and First Aid facilities.</li><li>Oversee and supervise contracted security personnel associated with various events.</li><li>Assist in communications with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies if relevant for the event.  </li><li>Other duties and responsibilities as relevant and necessary.</li><li>Make immediate decisions and communicate with management, first responders, venue guests, employers, and performers in the facility in an emergency situation.</li><li>Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li style="color:black">Associates degree from two-year college or combination of education and relevant experience. </li><li style="color:black">Minimum 2-4 years of progressive security or Law Enforcement experience, including supervisory experience.</li><li style="color:black">Security experience working in stadium, arena, similar venue environment.  </li><li style="color:black">Ability to demonstrate success in managing multiple tasks and projects under tight deadlines.</li><li style="color:black">Ability to lead, give clear, concise direction and provide constructive feedback; can demonstrate confidence and leadership abilities.</li><li style="color:black">Excellent people skills, with an ability to interact effectively in a professional, diplomatic, and mature manner with internal and external clients and peers at all levels within an organization and throughout the community.</li><li style="color:black">Extensive experience managing teams; demonstrated ability in coaching, counseling, directing, and supervising teams or large groups.</li><li style="color:black">Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li><li style="color:black">Professional certifications: Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Sports Security Professional (CSSP) preferred or similar Intermediate or Advanced Law Enforcement Certificates. </li><li style="color:black">Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.</li><li>Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays required.</li></ul>
