The equipment used includes, but is not limited to, the following: air sampling devices, noise dosimeters, sound level meters, radio frequency meters, infrared analyzers, velometers, thermoanometers, multi-gas direct reading instrumentation, light meters, dynameters, heat stress monitors, Personal Protective equipment (respirators, ear plugs, ear muffs, hardhat, glasses/goggles, Tyvek suit, safety shoes, reflective vests harness/lanyards), receptacle circuit tester, pocket penetrometer, torvane shears, detector tubes/pump, calipers, tape measure, copier/scanner, facsimile machine, audio/visual equipment, digital camera and printers. In addition, this position will provide administrative and technical supervision over health and safety compliance officers in the areas of: accident investigations, complaint and referral inspections, general scheduled safety/health compliance inspections, special emphasis compliance programs, case file management, education and training, public speaking, internal training, equipment operation and maintenance, legal interpretations, engineering and design of protective safety systems, hazard abatement assistance, and research and development of new technologies and procedures.
