Responsibilities:
Responsible for the credit and collection process for past due customer balances, and backup for all positions within the dept to coordinate accurate and timely handling of all customer accounts, ensuring quality customer service while supporting the Publishing & Professional Education Solutions (PES) revenue goals yet maintaining the established days outstanding for receivables.  Serve as backup Oracle Super User for Accounts Receivable and Advanced Collections modules.<ul><li>Responsible for collection of past due customer accounts, utilizing the established credit and collections policies and procedures.</li><li>Responsible for making credit decisions on releasing Publishing orders. </li><li>Responsible for release and collection of all Evergreen orders.</li><li>Responsible to monitor and if determined assistance is needed to provide backup for the workflow of the Billing Customer Service and Credit and Collection staff to result in a well-qualified, empowered, informed and productive work team.</li><li>Serve as backup Oracle AR Super User </li></ul>

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications<ul><li>Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience</li><li>3 years accounts receivable experience</li><li>3 years business to business collections experience</li><li>Familiarity with ERP systems</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree</li><li>6 years of credit and collections experience</li><li>Experience with Oracle</li></ul>

This small, nimble team publishes and markets hundreds of resources each year. Position Overview The Marketing Communications Specialist executes day-to-day marketing and sales efforts for the Congregational Team, with a focus on customer-centered writing and video content creation. This role requires strong organization, problem resolution skills, flexibility, and collaboration across departments. Training and ongoing support are provided to ensure success in the role. Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Write, schedule, and send marketing emails to segmented congregational audiences </li><li>Support and optimize marketing copy across platforms </li><li>Produce audio and video content for social media, promotions, training, and customer education </li><li>Assist with webinar development and execution </li><li>Develop, brief, and manage print pieces for mailings and events </li><li>Collaborate with Marketing team colleagues to develop, execute, and support marketing plans focused on specific resources that meet customer needs </li><li>Work with the Design team to create design briefings, provide feedback, and track schedules at all routing stages </li><li>Help track schedules, contribute to annual marketing budgets, and support project workflows </li><li>Travel to 2-3 events annually to staff AFP booths </li><li>Provide administrative and other support as assigned </li></ul>Desired Education and Experience<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field </li><li>2-3 years of marketing experience; new college graduates with standout internships/relevant college work study experience will be considered </li><li>Experience in a mainline Protestant congregational ministry setting as volunteer, staff member, or other role </li></ul>Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities<ul><li>Strong, engaging writing skills tailored to customer needs </li><li>Clear and precise verbal communication skills </li><li>Fluency and creativity with content creation used for promotional videos and instructional videos </li><li>Experience with editing, excerpting, and uploading video to YouTube and Vimeo </li><li>Familiarity with The Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS) is a plus; enthusiasm for using it is even better </li><li>Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines </li><li>Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot), project management tools (Teamwork), and Microsoft 365, or demonstrated ability to learn new systems and software quickly </li><li>Highly organized, collaborative, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Familiarity with theological foundations and congregational life in the ELCA or other mainline Protestant denomination(s) </li></ul> Salary and Location The salary range for this position is $46,000-$50,000 annually, depending on qualifications and internal equity. This hybrid position is open to candidates living in the Twin Cities area and requires onsite work in the Minneapolis office 2-3 days per week.
