Working knowledge of purchasing and procurement practices, preferably within a manufacturing, industrial, maintenance, or MRO environment, with an understanding of indirect materials, maintenance parts, plant services, supplier management, inventory considerations, and procure-to-pay processes. Partner with Maintenance, Operations, and storeroom personnel to understand routine, planned, emergency, and shutdown requirements and ensure necessary materials and services are available to support plant operations, including inventory and critical spare parts.
