Job Title: Operating Room Circulating and Scrub Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 5x8 Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current RN licensure Certifications: Current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS as required by facility Must-Have: - Background in rural settings - Experience with c-sections, hand cases, podiatry, and cataracts - Travel experience required - Proficiency in Epic Description: The Operating Room Circulating and Scrub Nurse is responsible for providing safe, evidence-based care to surgical patients throughout the preoperative, intraoperative, and immediate postoperative phases. In the role of scrub nurse, the nurse establishes and maintains the sterile field, prepares instruments and supplies, anticipates surgeon needs, passes instruments and medications, and maintains accurate counts of sponges, sharps, and instruments.
