Essential Responsibilities: * Inspect products using gauges, scales, and vision at receiving inspection, in process inspection, and prior to shipment * Generate first article reports per AS9102 * Reconcile and review all final inspection documentation for shipments * Interact with source inspectors and customers as needed * Review customer purchase orders for quality requirement flow downs * Verifies conformance of products to specifications * Work with cross functional engineering teams to address any non-conformance"s * Record inspection results accurately on inspection report and in databases * Basic understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing * Make acceptance or rejection decisions based on established procedures * Performs visual and dimensional measurements of purchased components using microscopes, micrometers, dial calipers, and other precision measurement equipment * Establish appropriate inspection setups using the equipment available * Follows company safety policies and procedures while ensuring quality work * Tolerance measurement techniques, with the ability to interpret engineering specifications Position Requirements: * Inspectors must understand, read, and write English * CMM experience is required * Proficient in the utilization of Federal Aviation Regulations, FAA forms and documents.
