li>Knowledge of Surveying techniques, procedures, and calculations; Perform layout work competently and accurately as specified by Project Manager or General Superintendent; Provide checking of as-built conditions that require use of surveying techniques; Provide topographic and cross-section surveys as required for planning and payment quantities; Assist with conducting quantity calculations; Ability to interpret construction plans and perform basic calculations supporting work; Ability to work in a team environment and to communicate clearly; Ability to perform work tasks independently and safely; Experience in setting up heavy equipment GPS systems a plus. Will be responsible within work discipline for the utilization of best safety practices: the management of employee training for work methods, emphasis on special risks, cranes, lifting, DOT requirements, site conditions, telehandlers, JHA’s, accident injury management, electrical safety hazard, LOTO, arc flash (all as apply).
