Kforce has a client in Utah Valley, UT that is in need of a Senior to Principal-level RF Phased Array Antenna Engineer to play a key role in the design, development, and validation of advanced antenna systems. This is a hands-on, onsite role supporting both existing products and new development efforts, with meaningful ownership across the full engineering lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
<ul><li> Lead the design and development of phased array antennas</li><li> Design antenna elements, array architectures, feed networks, and beamforming systems</li><li> Perform electromagnetic (EM) simulations</li><li> Conduct link budget analysis and system-level RF performance evaluations</li><li> Analyze antenna and RF measurement data and refine designs based on results</li><li> Oversee prototyping, testing, integration, and validation of antenna systems in lab and limited field environments</li><li> Perform antenna and RF measurements</li><li> Design printed circuit assemblies (PCAs) that include RF, digital, and power circuitry</li><li> Support board bring-up, debugging, and validation</li><li> Develop scripts for test automation, calibration, data analysis, and RF/antenna performance evaluation</li><li> Collaborate cross-functionally with RF, microwave, DSP, systems, embedded, and mechanical engineering teams</li></ul> Requirements:<ul><li> Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (PhD preferred)</li><li> 7+ years of experience in antenna engineering with a strong focus on phased array systems</li></ul>
Deep understanding of:
<ul><li> Electromagnetics and antenna theory</li><li> Phased array principles (beam steering, grating lobes, mutual coupling)</li><li> RF and microwave circuit design</li><li> Hands-on experience with HFSS, CST and/or FEKO (preferred)</li><li> Proficiency with Python or MATLAB for modeling, simulation, data analysis, and automation</li><li> Experience performing antenna and RF measurements using professional lab equipment</li><li> Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools, preferably Altium</li><li> Ability to work onsite in a hardware-focused, laboratory environment</li></ul> <div>

Summary:
Kforce is partnering with a client seeking an experienced Radar Systems Engineer to support the development, testing, and scaling of advanced radar systems. This role is critical to filling a capability gap and supporting significant production growth of radar units. The ideal candidate will bring deep, hands-on radar systems expertise and the ability to contribute immediately across verification, validation, and system-level engineering efforts. This is not a pure RF or software engineering role-candidates must have true radar systems experience, including signal processing and system-level understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
