Your responsibilities will include: Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient What qualifications you will need: ExperienceCath Lab/Special Procedures Lab experience - preferredEducationHigh School Diploma - RequiredAssociate degree or above - RequiredCurrent Enrollment in an accredited Invasive Cardiovascular Technology Program - PreferredLicenses and CertificationsBLS Certification as per St. David's Healthcare policy RCIS, or RCES, or RT ( R ) license from an accrediting body - Required within 12 monthsAdvanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateBasic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date(RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, or (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician, or (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date Benefits St. David's Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
