As a Sonographer at Intermountain Health, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team, ensuring our patients receive the best care.  At Intermountain, you will be part of a team that values career advancement, innovation and collaboration, where your skills are valued, and your contributions make a lasting impact. What does it mean to be a caregiver with Intermountain?  Check out <a href="https://youtu.be/4NWmzvtxZDA?si=fhwQlYWE59dbkpYy" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">this video</a> and learn more and discover the “Power of We.” As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist you need to know how to:<ul><li>Perform a variety of Nuclear Medicine procedures utilizing multiple types of gamma cameras, utilizing proper injection techniques while injecting radioisotopes.</li><li>Perform IV puncture, and administer radiopharmaceuticals via IV when indicated.</li><li>Prepare exam room, communicate with the patient, obtain informed consent when necessary, and request an accurate clinical history as necessary for the exam.</li><li>Receive patients, explain method of examination, and position patient.</li><li>Select appropriate imaging techniques and protocols to complete the exam.</li><li>Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.</li></ul> Required Qualifications<ul><li>Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year College or Technical School; or a minimum of one (1) year minimum related experience and/or training.</li><li>Current ARRT (R) (NM) or NMTCB as CNMT registry.</li><li>Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>At least one (1) year of experience in Nuclear Medicine.</li></ul>Hearing/listening, lifting, manual dexterity, pulling/pushing, seeing, sitting, speaking, squatting/kneeling, standing, and walking.Location:St James HospitalWork City:ButteWork State:MontanaScheduled Weekly Hours:40The hourly range for this position is listed below.
