MRI Technologists shall operate a super conductive MRI machine, which is a highly complex computerized imaging device that employs the use of strong magnetic fields and radio waves to acquire images of the entire body, including the brain, neck, spine, chest, body, and extremities. Prepares and administers contrast material orally, by enema, or under close supervision of radiologists, intravenously but not independently; as required by procedure or patient’s condition, monitors vital signs (blood pressure and heart rate), and reports any significant changes to a radiologist.
