Procedure chart preparation: pulling of old chart to act as a resource, printing patient ID stickers, referencing past studies in Synapse cardiovascular for that patient and preparing billing slips. Help/assist in the following: pulling supplies, pre-procedure room preparation, patient preparation, procedure flow and post-procedure care of the patient.
Maintains accurate and timely documentation in medical record and image archive system, including exam set-up, image routing, result availability and charging accuracy. The Radiology Technologist in the Cath Lab is responsible for all aspects of Radiology related to Cardiac Catheterizations, Peripheral Angiograms, Cardiac Implanted Devices, Electrophysiology Procedures, and any other procedures performed in the Cardiac Cath Lab or Hybrid Lab. In this position the Radiology Technologist for our Cardiac Catheterization Lab will: Responsible for all aspects of preparing and executing Cardiac Catheterizations, Interventional IR and EP procedures, and all other exams performed in the department with or without the use of ionizing radiation.
