Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or vocational training preferred5+ years of experience as a mechanic, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management roleStrong knowledge of small engines, landscaping equipment, trailers, and light‑ to medium‑duty trucksProven ability to lead teams and manage shop workflows efficientlyAbility to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systemsStrong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skillsValid Driver's License and the ability to pass an MVR check. Diesel engine and heavy equipment experience is highly desirableExperience working in a commercial landscaping, construction, or field‑services companyFamiliarity with fleet management or maintenance tracking softwareKnowledge of DOT compliance, safety inspections, and preventive maintenance programsBudgeting and inventory management experienceAbility to work collaboratively with operations and production leadershipBilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
