Environmental Requirements: Work is conducted in diagnostic imaging rooms, patient care areas, and procedure spaces with regular exposure to radiation-producing equipment (with required safety controls), infection-control considerations, and typical hospital noise and activity levels. Working under the direction of a radiologist and in accordance with departmental protocols, the Technologist prepares and positions patients, operates imaging equipment, and ensures studies are completed safely, efficiently, and with attention to patient comfort.
