DescriptionJob Overview:The Warehouse Clerk will receive items/products for the property and deliver them to the appropriate department. In this position one shall be responsible for the deliveries to/from the warehouse and assists in inventory counts as needed and keeps the warehouse clean/orderly. The Warehouse Clerk acts as the receiving/warehouse agent on behalf of Wind Creek Hospitality in accordance with the Internal Controls, Tribal policies and procedures, and Tribal Gaming Regulations. Purpose:Our genuine engagement and positive energy provide guests an escape from their routine into our exciting fantasy world of fun, chance, and possibility, where everyone feels a sense of belonging and importance.Value System:Our enthusiastic commitment to our purpose inspires and empowers us to do everything right, have fun, and be the best. We will be recognized fairly, elevating our levels of personal accountability, and focus on our customer. The resulting creation of wealth will grow opportunities for all. Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Takes part in daily, cycle, and month end inventory</li><li>Processes requisitions, transfers and prepares fill orders for distribution</li><li>Inputs data to applicable inventory/purchasing software</li><li>Performs daily recaps and generates assigned reports</li><li>Adheres to warehouse standard operating procedure manual for warehouse department</li><li>Monitors inventory levels and manages these assets to achieve appropriate stock levels and ordering schedules</li><li>Other duties and responsibilities as assigned</li></ul>Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying) <ul><li>High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment</li><li>Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older</li><li>One (1) year warehouse/receiving experience- preferred</li><li>Experience with computerized inventory/purchasing systems- preferred</li><li>Ability to become skilled using current inventory system within 60 days of hire date as a condition of continued employment</li><li>Ability to use all equipment associated with the position including manual and powered pallet jack, fork lift, hand truck, cart, and electronic scale</li><li>Must have and maintain valid state-issued operator driver’s license Ability to stand for extended period of times and climb ladders</li><li>Must be able to lift and/or move parcels and packages weighting 50 lbs.</li><li>Must be able to work in a harsh environment – freezers, coolers, etc</li><li>Must be able to endure outside elements/conditions – heat, cold, wind, rain, etc</li><li>Willing and able to work odd or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays</li><li>Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required</li><li>Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position</li><li>Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment</li></ul>NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN PREFERENCE IN HIRING POLICY SHALL BE ADHERED TO AT ALL TIMESComplaints about the recruitment or selection process for employment should be directed in writing to office of the President and CEO of Wind Creek Hospitality.
