JOB PURPOSE: The primary job purpose of a recreation therapist working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is to use structured, purposeful leisure activities to improve a client's functional abilities, social interactions, emotional regulation, and overall quality of life. responsible for coordinating Els for Autism® camps including the creation of lesson plans for daily activities and for overseeing any assigned staff and volunteers working within assigned recreation activities.
