Trauma Level: Facility Specific Job Notes: **Required Skills / Certifications / Experience:** - Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years - Skills required: - EPIC Experience - IV Start and Circulate - At least 400 births per month experience - Labor inductions - Intrauterine fetal demise (IUFDs) - Multiple drips (Pitocin, magnesium, insulin) - Preterm and multiple gestations - Preeclampsia - Postpartum hemorrhages - Circulate in OR - Epidurals - Must be able to recover C-sections - Certifications required: - BCLS - AWHONN Intermediate - NRP **Special Procedures / Unit Details:** - Labor inductions, IUFDs, multiple drips, preterm, multiple gestations, preeclampsia, postpartum hemorrhages, circulate in OR, epidurals - Previous Epic experience required - Recover C-sections required - Expertise in nitrous oxide and amnio infusions beneficial but not required **Patient Diagnoses:** - 14 weeks and above pregnant seen in triage - 20 weeks and above in L&D with resuscitation for 22 weeks and above - Labor and delivery in the same suite with 3 OR rooms/recovery **Certifications / Skills Required:** - AWHONN Advanced - AWHONN Intermediate - BLS - NRP - Circulate for C-section - Epidural Anesthesia - Facility births/month >300 - Insulin drips - Isolation Precautions/PPE - Labor & Delivery - Magnesium Sulfate therapy - Maintain central lines (CVC / PICC) - Pitocin (oxytocin) - Starting and maintaining IVs - Triage of obstetrical patients - Use of infusion pumps / drips / IV monitoring - Use of PCA (IV) **Licensure:** - NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal **Additional Qualifications:** - Must work 2 of 3 major holidays.
