Required Qualifications: Current, valid Registered Nurse license in the state of practice, temporary or interim Registered Nurse license in the state of practice, or compact Registered Nurse licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification; National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; at least one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting, including experience in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area. Additional Information: Responsibilities include assessing and reassessing patients, reviewing diagnostic and laboratory data, formulating and revising individualized plans of care, providing direct patient care, coordinating and supervising care delivered by other personnel, evaluating patient and family responses to care and education, maintaining timely and accurate documentation, communicating patient status to the healthcare team, participating in quality improvement activities, and supporting the education, orientation, precepting, and mentoring of others.
