The NNP may prescribe the following therapeutic treatments: • Respiratory therapy utilizing nasal cannula • Nasal CPAP • Ventilation-initiation of initial settings • Adjusting settings based on blood gases and x-rays for conventional ventilators, volume ventilators, and HFOV and HFJV • Inhalation treatments • Chest physiotherapy • Suctioning.
