The rehabilitation technician is trained, following AOTA, APTA, ASHA and South Carolina occupational therapy and physical therapy licensure laws, to assist physical, occupational and speech therapists with patient care related activities. The rehabilitation technician maintains adequate stock and condition of patient care supplies and equipment, contributes to service line process improvements and conducts work activities according to department policy and procedure.
