Provide high-quality nursing services to clients with Severe Mental Illness (SMI) and dual-diagnosis individuals including: medication education and support (scheduled, walk-in, individual, groups, crisis intervention, and on-call), consultation with Psychiatrist and physicians regarding clients and medication adjustments, facilitation of blood draw for labs as ordered, assistance with medical treatments/procedures as prescribed. The Nurse reports to the Regional Nurse Supervisor and Program Director and will provide direct nursing support to the clients as well as education to the Treatment Team, to the clients, and to families of clients (as appropriate) in many areas, with special attention given to the role of psychotropic medications.
