Performs general maintenance on various types of building components and apparatus, i.e., motors, pumps, valves, bearings, floats, pulleys, belts, switches, relays, plugs, light ballasts, light photocells, fuses, circuit breakers, timers, transformers, wiring, fire sensors, door hardware, roofing, floor and ceiling repair, dry wall, painting, caulking, concrete repair, etc. Assists with spraying projects for the prevention or eradication of pests, fungus, and insects harmful to park plants, trees, shrubs and other environ; selects appropriate chemicals and combinations to accomplish task; maintains records of spraying activities; assures chemicals are properly stored and used in conformity with county, state, or federal regulations; operates spraying equipment.
