Complete submissions for both new and renewal accounts to insurance carriers. Prepare proposals, negotiate coverage terms, and secure optimal pricing.Oversee the end-to-end New Business and Renewal process. Coordinate with carriers to determine plan benefits, rates, and contract terms.Create and deliver spreadsheets, presentations, and proposals for new and renewal business, ensuring coverage terms and pricing align with client expectations.Send and receive BOR (Broker of Record) letters to carriers and set up clients in the EPIC system.Initiate contact with clients to introduce yourself, collect any additional information, and establish a strong working relationship.Plan and conduct open enrollment meetings.Submit applications and other required forms to carriers, conduct audits 45 days post-effective date, and finalize termination of previous policies within 15 days of the new policy’s effective date.Foster positive, proactive relationships with clients and insurance providers. Proactively check in with clients quarterly to offer support and assistance.Handle new hire enrollments, changes, terminations, and ensure data integrity in the Agency Management System for all policy records.Manage client inquiries regarding claims, billing issues, and premium discrepancies, as well as COBRA administration questions.Respond promptly to all client, carrier, or member inquiries, typically within 24 hours.Escalate urgent issues to the Risk Advisor as needed.Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree 5+ years of experience in Employee BenefitsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Compensation The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $115,000, based on experience, skills, and knowledge. ESIS is seeking a Claims Assistant in Las Vegas, to report to the Operations Team Leader.Key Objective: Under limited supervision, performs customer service and/or claims processing functions, Operational Tasks, special projects and Daily Propriety Audits to ensure the legitimacy, accuracy and proper payment authority for Claim Payments madeMajor Duties and Responsibilities: <ul><li>Duties may include, but are not limited to: </li><li>Performs Daily Propriety Audits to ensure the legitimacy, accuracy and proper payment authority of Claim Payments </li><li>Track and attest to the daily audit results </li><li>Communicate errors to individuals making payments </li><li>Ensure the timely correction of errors </li><li>Verify that errors have been corrected. Report daily findings to management </li><li>Pulling, reviewing, and preparing financial reports in collaboration with other ESIS offices across the US </li><li>Responsible for Office State Form filing and assisting with multiple Operational tasks </li><li>Index and organize claim file documents in a timely manner </li></ul><ul><li>2-4 years Claims Support experience. </li><li>Ability to operate and contribute positively in a team-based environment. </li><li>Good written and oral communication skills including effective telephone skills. </li><li>Ability to work independently under limited supervision. </li><li>Superior organizational and analytical skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities. </li><li>Demonstrated initiative as evidenced by the ability to self-manage, organize and prioritize work. </li><li>Strong working knowledge of computer systems and various Microsoft applications such as Word, Outlook and Excel. </li><li>Committed to high standards of behavior and performance. </li></ul>An applicable resident or designated home state adjuster’s license is required for ESIS Field Claims Adjusters.  Adjusters that do not fulfill the license requirements will not meet ESIS’s employment requirements for handling claims. ESIS supports independent self-study time and will allow up to 4 months to pass the adjuster licensing exam.The pay range for the role is $33,300 to $63,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors.
