Key Responsibilities:Greet guests and take food, wine, and beer orders in a courteous and professional mannerAccurately enter orders into the POS system and process cash and credit card transactionsServe beer and wine in accordance with all state and local alcohol regulationsVerify identification to ensure legal drinking age for alcohol purchasesMaintain a clean, organized cashier and service stationStock and restock food items, beverages, and service supplies as neededAnswer guest questions regarding menu items, beer, and wine selectionsCommunicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely order fulfillmentAssist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and side workReport inventory, equipment, or guest concerns to managementQualifications:Previous cashier or customer service experience preferredBasic knowledge of food service and beer/wine service a plusAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracyStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 IbsValid alcohol service certification for beer and wine (or ability to obtain)Must be 21+ years of age (or per local alcohol service laws)Schedule:Nights, weekends, and holidays may be requiredPart-time or full-time based on operational needsCLASSIFICATION:Non-exempt (hourly)SKILLS:Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the pointsbeing made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
