Participates in hospital or system-wide committees as the subject matter expert, including but not limited to: Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee, Sepsis, Sedation, Resuscitation, Stroke, or other disease state committees. Provides formal and informal education to healthcare professionals, including the GME department, at the local, state and national level to improve prescribing, administration and monitoring of medication therapy.
