With customers across the US, UK & Ireland, we currently hold offices in Phoenix, Virginia, Maryland, London, Dublin and Israel.</p><p>At eScribers we value professionalism, innovative thinking, and collaboration and this is what guides us in all aspects of our day-to-day operations.</p><p>Come be a part of our growth by joining our outstanding team of professionals!</p><p> </p></div><p> </p><p><strong>Digital Court Reporter -  Contractor position  </strong></p><p>eScribers is looking for <strong>experienced </strong>digital court reporters.</p><p><strong>**SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF A TRAINING PROGRAM OR RELEVANT REPORTING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.**</strong></p><p>We are a nationwide court reporting and transcription company.  We currently have a need for reporters to appear in person for local and travel jobs in Arlington, NY, Poughkeepsie and surrounding areas.  Remote work is also available.  We offer very flexible scheduling and the opportunity to take transcription work (for candidates found suitable based on relevant experience).</p><p><strong>General Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Completion of training program OR previous reporting experience</li><li><strong>Must </strong>have reporting equipment before being onboarded </li><li>Be legally eligible to work in the United States</li><li>Experience or knowledge of legal proceedings</li><li>High degree of professionalism</li><li>Commit to meeting all deadlines</li><li>Be able to upload and download files and use other basic computer functions</li><li>Have a high-speed internet connection</li><li>Reliable mode of transportation</li><li>Have a current U.S. bank account to receive contract payments</li><li>Candidates must have their own reporting equipment</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation and Onboarding:</strong></p><p>You will be an independent contractor and will be compensated on a per project/assignments basis.</p><p>Compensation will include:</p><ul><li>Daily appearance fee</li><li>Travel expenses reimbursed, if necessary</li><li>Commission on copy sales and exhibit handling</li><li>Weekly pay via direct deposit</li></ul><p>Candidates selected for this position will be required to undergo an onboarding process that involves completion of required paperwork, computer setup, and familiarizing yourself with the programs and workflow system you'll be using.</p><p>Additional information about our onboarding process will be provided to candidates selected for this position.</p><p>Priority for work is given to court reporters who maintain excellent quality standards in the submission of their assignments.</p><p> </p>

This territory covers a dense metro area where familiarity with city driving, parking, and navigating multi-unit properties is helpful.</em></p><h3>Requirements</h3><p>As an independent contractor, you are responsible for providing your own equipment, including:</p><ul><li>Reliable, fuel-efficient vehicle.</li><li>Smartphone (Android or iPhone) capable of running mobile reporting apps.</li><li>Computer with an internet connection and a printer.</li><li>Strong time-management skills to meet deadlines without direct supervision.</li><li>Ability to pass a standard background check.</li></ul><h3>Earnings & Volume</h3><ul><li><strong>Flat-Rate Pay:</strong> This is a 1099 position where you are paid a set fee for every inspection completed.</li><li><strong>Earning Potential:</strong> While pay is per-inspection, efficient contractors typically earn the equivalent of $25–$35 per hour.</li><li><strong>Volume:</strong> Rates and inspection volume vary by county.
