Sets goals, priorities, and success measures for external affairs; establishes operating rhythms such as regular external‑affairs reviews, key‑account reviews, and annual narrative refresh cycles; uses data to monitor progress; and ensures that these functions work together as a coordinated system that delivers measurable improvements in visibility, student outcomes, and external engagement. Essential Function 6: Collaborates closely with the Dean, the Associate Dean for Finance and Administration, the Associate Deans for Undergraduate and Graduate Programs, and other College and University leaders to ensure that external affairs activities are informed by data, coordinated with academic and operational planning, and effectively represented in college‑ and University‑level discussions.
