The successful candidate will conduct original research across various fields, including but not limited to business analytics, behavioral science, decision, risk and management science, marketing analytics, cybersecurity, innovation and science policy, research ethics, organizational sciences, the dynamics between people, organizations, and systems, AI, robotics, and immersive or augmenting technologies for learning, interdisciplinary approaches to societal issues, sustainable business, or other relevant research areas. The university has a significant presence across Virginia, including the Innovation Campus in Northern Virginia; the Health Sciences and Technology Campus in Roanoke; sites in Newport News and Richmond; and numerous Extension offices and research centers .
