Preference will be given to those applicants who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, also possess a combination of the following: Two years related experience working with "at-risk" youth; Associates degree and/or rank of E-5 in the military; Skill in completing administrative activities to include proficiency in using MicroSoft Office software; Possession of a valid Georgia Commercial Driver's License (CDL); Basic knowledge and ability to lead military drill and ceremonies in accordance with Army Field Manual 22.5; Ability to conduct personal, career, and corrective counseling. Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to: Supervising and monitoring the daily activities of assigned students, including maintaining activity logs documenting student activities and behavior; Conducting, supervising, and participating in physical training program, while maintaining the ability to lead, demonstrate, and participate in daily physical fitness activities to include calisthenics, running, hiking, and working with basic exercise equipment; Adhering to and enforcing rules, policies, and procedures relating to the provision of guidance and instruction.
