The position of Kitchen Manager is a fast-paced role that manages the daily back-of-house operations, including: * Supervising and overseeing food preparation and production * Overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all back-of-house items * Understanding, managing, and practicing safe food-handling procedures * Managing inventory and food costs, tracking waste, and controlling labor costs * Assisting with interviewing, hiring and training of back-of-house staff * All other duties as assigned Qualifications * High School diploma or equivalent * A minimum of 1 year of prior management experience in family or casual dining is preferred * ServSafe Food Manager Certification is preferred * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills * Strong planning, problem-solving, and organization skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment * Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
