You will: Assist Utility Electrician III or High Voltage Electricians with operation, installation, removal, cleaning, inspection, troubleshooting and repair of 15,000 and 138,000-volt class equipment consisting of underground cable vaults, cable duels, cable racks, cables, splices, terminations, equipment grounding, surge arresters, switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers, motors; assist with distribution system switching. As our Electrician II, at The Ohio State University, with the supervision of the High Voltage Manager & Supervisor, you will be responsible for performing duties as a highly skilled electrician in the installation, operation, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of low, medium, and high voltage to 138,000-volt class electrical generation and distribution systems and equipment.
