Essential Duties / Responsibilities · Work to ensure that the assigned premises are kept safe and secure · Regular walks around assigned perimeter · Communicate effectively and regularly to team using assigned radio · Identify and correct inefficiencies, liabilities, and safety hazards at appointed site · Monitor assigned location with high degree of attentiveness to surroundings at appointed site · Provide detailed information to authorities as needed · Have NO use of force to protect property - Secure and Report ONLY · Other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or management Required Skills / Abilities · Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy · Utilize the company's current scheduling and approving her/his weekly hours for payroll · Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is a must · Judgement and high level of integrity · High initiative and reliability · Ability to work in a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration, and teamwork · Safely and legally operate a motor vehicle; Must have a valid and current Driver's License Physical Demands · Must be able to sit upright, stand, or walk for 100% of the shift as needed · Must be able to quickly ascend and descend stairs and move as needed to secure premises · Must be able to engage quickly physically to de-escalate or respond to security or safety threats · · Must have excellent visual and auditory acuity to see, hear, and interpret observable people, things, behavior, and speech.
