C53 nurses work collaboratively with members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide high-quality, patient-centered, specialty care to neurological patients, postoperative neurosurgical patients with brain and spine disorders and general medicine patients, as well as specialized epilepsy monitoring patients. MedStar Georgetown’s neuroscience specialty centers and programs include our: Multidisciplinary Spine Center, offering advanced treatment for spinal cord tumors, spine cancer, neck disorders and degenerative conditions, often through minimally invasive surgical techniques or CyberKnife.
