Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Full-time day/night variable schedule Hours per Shift: 3 x 12 hours shifts scheduled as needed plus every other weekend, holiday, and 2 on-call shifts per 4 weeks Experience: Two years acute hospital experience as an RN, with at least one year in an emergency department License: Current RN Licensure Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Stroke Certification (must be AHA or RQI) Must-Have: Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least one year in an emergency department Description: The Emergency Department Registered Nurse applies knowledge of nursing theory, technical skills, and communication skills in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients and families. The ED RN assesses patient needs, identifies urgent or emergent care priorities, and collaboratively provides direct care, applies appropriate interventions, and evaluates patient progress.
