Trauma Level: Facility Specific Job Notes: **Required Experience and Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience - Epic charting experience required - Community hospital experience required - Travel experience required - Administration of chemotherapy, body fluid handling post-chemotherapy, continuous infusion of chemotherapy, and IV push administration of chemotherapy required - Accessing/managing ports, administration of blood & blood products, administration of coagulation factors skills required - Professional knowledge and skills including care coordination, phlebotomy skills, telephone triage, wound care - Psychosocial care including advanced directives, patient/family education and support - Symptom management including handling alteration in skin and mucous membranes, altered mental status, constipation/diarrhea, dysphagia, edema, nausea/vomiting, and neuropathy - Experience with surgery-related post-surgical care **Preferred Experience:** - Previous charge experience - LTAC, Trauma Level I, and Trauma Level II experience preferred **Certifications and Licensure:** - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)* (preferred) - Chemotherapy (ONS/ONCC) - Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN)* (preferred) - MI license in hand; Pending OH License is okay **Skills and Special Procedures:** - Understanding in handling oncologic emergencies such as Acute Tumor Lysis Syndrome (ATLS), anaphylaxis, extravasation injury, sepsis - Pain management including IV push narcotic agents and transdermal patches - Experience in infusion center, outpatient oncology, administration of bone marrow, CAR-T, graft-versus-host disease, stem cell therapies - Care of oncology patients with diseases such as bladder/kidney cancer, brain cancer, breast cancer, leukemia/blood dyscrasias, and more - IV therapy/infusions including central line/implanted line care, infusion pump management, PICC line care - Medication administration including antibiotics, antiemetics, antifungals, antivirals, corticosteroids, neupogen **Other Requirements:** - COVID-19 Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only - Flu Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only - Two references from within the last 24 months.
