Performs advanced procedures, including but not limited to initial stabilization, advanced airway placement, cricothyrotomy, advanced EKG interpretation and treatment, transcutaneous cardiac pacing, synchronized cardioversion, NG Tube placement, urinary catheter placement, IV/IO vascular access, medication administration, needle decompression, and ongoing patient monitoring. Ability to function effectively in high-acuity, high-stress transport environments involving critically ill infants and children.
